Blog Session 2/ The best holiday ever: Pucon

Hi there everyone! This post is about the best holidays I ever had and this was my travel to Pucon on the Ninth Region of Araucania. I went there the past year on winter vacations invited by my cousin with all paid (except for my tickets). We went there for a whole week and stay in a rented apartment with three friends of her and us both, so we were five girls staying in a single room apartment looking for fun. On the time there we took two tours, the first one we went to the Villarica Volcano to the snow park and we learn how to sky and we play a lot with the snow and took a lots of pictures. The second tour we took was a travel around the Villarica Lake and the nature reserves that exist there, to end the day at a hot springs located between a hills in a beautiful place full of native trees and great panoramic views. We also party a lot on the same apartment and in local bars and nightclubs despite the rain that was falling, because it’s a very raining place in winter so you have to get used to it.

I consider this as my best holidays ever because I didn’t had to spend too much money for all the fun I get and we could meet a lot of beautiful places located on the same area. I also love the multicultural character of the city because how it’s a touristic place we could meet people from other countries like Angola or France and I could practice my English trying to speak with them.

  1. Tania I agree with you because I think that Pucon is a great place to go on holidays. I went there five years ago and until now I remember its beatiful landscapes, people and delicious dishes.

  2. That was such a party. I also think Pucon is a beautiful city but the times I´ve been there I never ski in the volcano, I believe you had a great time in there. Did you go to the hot springs? There are many of them in Pucon.
